Heat Resilient: Unlike ordinary spinach, this crop loves the heat. It grows aggressively during the hot months of May and June, provided it has enough water.

Monsoon Friendly: It flourishes during the rains (Saawan). While other crops might rot in waterlogged soil, Kalmi Saag loves wet “muddy” conditions.

Continuous Harvest: This is a “Cut-and-Come-Again” crop. Once established, you can harvest fresh greens every 10–12 days throughout the summer
